EuroPeers Training Course
12-16 September 2016, Bonn, Germany
We are looking for 2 trainers who will be involved in the preparation and carrying out of this EuroPeers training course in cooperation with one junior trainer selected separately and a representative from German National Agency.
Aim of the TC
- to prepare participants for active participation in the EuroPeers network
- to gain basic knowledge about mobility programmes in Europe
- to gain/develop new knowledge and skills in project management, PR activities, chairing and presentation techniques
- to find practical ideas and tools how to teach others about Europe and Erasmus+ YOUTH IN ACTION programme
Social media will be used: e.g. live blog, pictures, audio, video, etc. to link with the outside world. Participants will exchange their experience and good practice and will be encouraged to undertake actions as EuroPeers after the training course (with support from the trainers after the TC).
Target group of the TC
Young people who took part in YiA/Erasmus+ YOUTH IN ACTION projects:
- who want to raise awareness among young people of European issues and activities;
- who want to show how cultural diversity can be brought to life and encourage their peers to reflect critically on Europe and EU policy;
- who feel confident to express themselves in German;
- who are committed to attend the full duration of the course;
- who are at least 18 years old;
- Residents of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme Countries.

Team
- 2 trainers – responsible for programme flow, methodology and final report
- 1 supporting junior trainer
- Representative of National Agency, responsible for the organisational part of the training and content-related resource persons (concept, info about Erasmus+ YiA, promotion of the training, co-operation with other NAs, recruitment of participants, logistics, etc.)
Trainers’ profile
Candidates shall:
- have experience in non-formal education;
- have rich experience in the topic of TC;
- have at least 3 experiences as trainer in international training courses;
- have knowledge about the Erasmus+ YOUTH IN ACTION Programme and other mobility programmes in Europe;
- have management skills;
- know non-formal education training/event approaches;
- have very good level of spoken and written English language.
Tasks / duties of trainers
The tasks of the trainer include the following:
- to be prepared before and actively attend the preparatory meeting in Bonn (June/July 2016);
- to attend the full training course including prep day (11-16 September 2016)
- to design, prepare, deliver and evaluate the training together with other team members;
- to prepare the final report together with the other trainers;
- to stay in contact with participants before and after the TC (supporting and motivating the participants in their EuroPeer actions).
Trainer’s fee
6 paid days (280 € per day) = 1680 € (gross)
- 5 working days during the training course;
- 1 day for preparation and evaluation (fixed amount including individual and team preparation, prep-meeting, on-going and final evaluation directly after the training + final report; prep-meeting dates and final report are not extra paid);
- board, lodging and international travel costs will be covered by organisers.
